The lab is always looking for curious, dedicated people interested in getting involved with research!

 

Postdoctoral fellow applicants, please email Dr. Chiao a current CV, sample publication or manuscript, short description of research interests (2 pgs or less) and names of 3 references.  International candidates and members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.  While funding may be available, postdoctoral candidates are urged to apply for independent financial support including, but not limited to, the Helen Hay Whitney Fellowship, NIH NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship, APA Diversity Program in Neuroscience and/or Fulbright Scholarship. 

 

Graduate student applicants, please email Dr. Chiao a brief statement of interest in the summer or Fall prior to applying for the NU Psychology or Neuroscience Ph.D. program.  International candidates and members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.  While university/departmental funding to support graduate training is available, prospective graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply for independent funding including, but not limited to, the NSF Graduate Research Fellowships, NIH NRSA Predoctoral Fellowship, Department of Defense Graduate Research Fellowships, APA Diversity Program in Neuroscience and Jacob K. Javitz Predoctoral Research Fellowships.

 

Undergraduate senior honors thesis applicants, please contact Dr. Chiao during the beginning of or before your junior year to discuss possible research topics.  Students may be particularly interested in the number of NU funding opportunities for summer and senior year research projects.

 

Research assistant applicants, please email Dr. Chiao a recent resume, a short description of research interests and names of 2 references.
