The Department of
Psychology at Northwestern has an intellectually alive atmosphere. Every year there are numerous speaker series,
including the Social Brownbag, Cognitive
Brain Mapping Group meeting, Cognitive
Science talks, Cultural Evolution
and Health, and Colloquium Series, to attend and
participate in. The NU department
observes a strong interdisciplinary, inter-area approach to psychological
science; students and faculty share a congenial and collaborative environment.
