SPOC is an informal collection of social psychologists who work in the greater Chicago area and who get together once a year for a day-long conference. These meetings, held in the early spring, involve numerous presentations by SPOC members and visitors and offer ample opportunity for informal discussion of recent research findings, consideration of professional issues, and "networking" (i.e., eating, drinking, and socializing). |
| The next meeting of SPOC (Spring, 2002) will be hosted by the University of Illinois - Chicago. |
